Become a volunteer!
Volunteers are a vital part of our programs. Without volunteers, programming could not expand to include a greater number of students.
IN CLASSES:
SIDEWALKER: The main responsibility of the sidewalker is the student's safety. As a sidewalker you will also aid the student with the tasks they are instructed to complete. Volunteers must be 13 or older to sidewalk.
HORSE LEADER: Maintains control of the horse. Prior horse experience is required and specialized training is provided. Volunteers must be 14 or older to begin leading horses, and must complete training prior to leading.
Classes run Monday through Friday from 9:30 am until 6:30, classes are one hour in duration. We ask that when you sign up for a class that you are able to commit to the same time for the 10 week session.
IN THE BARN:
Stall cleaning, sweeping, filling/emptying water buckets, horse turn-out, moving/stacking hay, etc.
GENERAL GROUNDSKEEPING:
Mowing, weeding, general ground maintenance.

ALL volunteers over the age of 18 are required to submit to a criminal background check.
