

The farm has 14 horses on the property selected for their gentle temperaments to help students reach their highest potentials.
Therapeutic sessions are led by our NARHA certified instructors in conjunction with a team of highly dedicated volunteers which enable disabled riders to participate in an activity that is normally performed only by able-bodied persons.
Raemelton offers three main programs:
Therapy riding is beneficial to individuals to improve balance, muscle strength, coordination, motor skills, decrease spascity, and increase range of motion. Secondary benefits are improved self-confidence, social interaction, improve verbal skills and pure enjoyment. Requirements: Student without trunk control must be under 80 pounds. Must be seizure free for one year and all students must be under 200 pounds. Session are one hour, once a week for ten weeks.

Therapy driving is for individuals who are too fragile to transfer from their wheelchair or are over 200 pounds. Therapy driving is beneficial for balance, core muscle strength, hand eye coordination, verbal skills and enjoyment. Sessions are one hour, once a week for ten weeks.

The CARE program is for individual that have experienced physical or emotional trauma. The students builds self esteem , a sense of responsibility and accomplishment through interaction, providing care and riding our therapy horses. Sessions are one and a half hour per week for a ten weeks. |
These sessions can be held independent or in conjunction with a riding session. The equiciser builds balance, core muscle strength, and basic riding skills. Equiciser session are thirty minutes. |
